Are you making this mistake by Drofn Goodman

Which mistake ,you might ask? Here it is, drumroll… Not drinking enough water! Oh, man, not that one again.  Not so fast… I think once you see the many powerful benefits water has on your well-being, you’ll change your tune.  Hopefully you will not be so inclined to go for the other drink options your brain craves.  Other drinks like soda, flavored water, coffee and fruit juice are primary sources of fructose. It is a known fact, that fructose causes weight gain and deterioration of your overall health.

Here are some of the benefits of drinking water on a regular basis.  Water composes 75% of your brain. It helps regulate your body temperature. Our blood is 83% water.  It helps removes waste throughout the entire body. Bones are 22% water. Its acts like a shock absorber in our joints. Water assists in carrying nutrients and oxygen to our cells, moistens oxygen for breathing. Water helps convert food into energy while protecting and cushions our vital organs. Imagine, your muscles are 75% water.  Plus, it helps our bodies absorb nutrients.

So here is the answer to the world’s most-asked question. How much water should you drink?  Learn to listen to your body. Thirst is an obvious signal that it’s high time to replenish your water.  Fatigue and moodiness can also indicate you need to drink more water.  Want to know how to gauge your water needs? Are you certain you want the answer? Urine… Observe the color of your urine and frequency of urinating.  On average, a healthy number of bathroom visits is around seven or eight per day. That’s a lot of trips to the potty! The color of your urine should be light or pale yellow. Another alternative is even easier.  Drink half of your weight in ounces each day. Example, if you weight 124lbs, that’s 62 ounces per day!

So I hope you won’t be a statistic and make the same mistake so many others make. Drink up!

Psalm 65:9 You visit the earth and saturate it with water; You greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; You provide them with grain when You have so prepared the earth.

      Gina,
Thank you for your comment on our blog. Also, we have been enjoying your olive oil. I made Chicken Pesto Pasta… Darren loved it! It’s the best olive oil we ever tasted. Many blessings to you and Nick.
