Imagine, God love you so much that he would offer his very own son to save you. His love was so great that he didn’t look for perfection, but us sinners. Jesus was sent to the lost, sick and abandoned. The father’s love is revealed in scripture that he would leave the ninety-nine sheep to find that one lamb that was lost. In another example Jesus share as story of a lost coin… In the story the character empties the entire house to find the lost coin.

I know this is challenging to imagine such ambitious actions to find the one that is lost. But woven within these passages Gods love is revealed. Like so many others if you are reading this for the first time it may be shocking. This is why some many people have turned to the love of God though Jesus Christ.

St. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whosoever would believe on him shall be saved.

This vers is profound and at the same time simplistic. God loves you! That is the first fact we must embrace. Second, we all were lost and need to be found. Third, no one is excluded all are embraced once we believe on Jesus. This is our pathway to God. No extra rules, activities or memberships. Believe on Jesus and be saved!

To help you put this together it may not make sense. Often we are our own worst judge and cast harsh judgement on ourselves. But God still loves us and is ready to redeem us. Isn’t it time for you to be heard, recognized and seen! Reach out to him with pray and embrace his response. In your present state or condition reach out and embrace the live that is only available through Jesus Christ. Lets pray together…

Father God, I come to you a sinner, abandoned and hopeless. I look to you the giver of life and creator of heaven and earth. I believe on Jesus Christ and ask that you would receive me. I ask that you would forgive me and allow me to forgive others. I ask that you would cleanse me from all my sins and wash me clean through Jesus Christ and his sacrifice. I receive your salvation and new life. I receive your forgiveness. I call you my Lord and Savior. From now forward I call myself a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. Amen.
